Frequently asked questions
Who is MamboCasa Property Management for?
Landlords and property managers with residential, commercial or mixed-use properties, together with their tenants, caretakers and gate security staff. Each role gets its own view of the system.
Does it handle rent and utility billing?
Yes. You set rent, deposits and utility charges per unit, including utilities split between tenants, and record payments made by M-Pesa, bank or cash so balances and overdue amounts stay up to date.
Can it collect M-Pesa payments automatically?
Payments are recorded with their M-Pesa reference number and reconciled in the system. It does not currently connect to M-Pesa to collect payments automatically.
Does it include accounting?
Yes. It keeps double-entry books: journal entries, a general ledger and a trial balance, alongside expenses and vendor invoices.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes. The system works in any browser, installs like an app, and is also available as an Android app.
